Praised for her “crystal-clear” (Opera Magazine) voice of a “beautifully expressive variety,” (Broadway World UK), South Korean soprano Henna Mun is quickly establishing herself on international stages. A current Harewood Artist with the English National Opera, Henna was recently named the 2024 John Christie Award recipient at the Glyndebourne Festival, and first prize winner of the 2025 Clonter Award. This season, Ms. Mun made a critically acclaimed principal role debut as Josephine in H.M.S. Pinafore with English National Opera, and originated the role of Phyllis in the world premiere of Mark-Anthony Turnage’s The Railway Children with The Glyndebourne Autumn Festival. This season, Ms. Mun returns to Glyndebourne as Nympha in L’Orfeo and as Barbarina in Le nozze di Figaro.
