Praised by Opera News as a "standout", mezzo-soprano Gina Perregrino has been heard on stages including the Metropolitan Opera, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Seattle Opera, Santa Fe Opera, Minnesota Opera, Opera Philadelphia, The Atlanta Opera, The Dallas Opera, Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, Ópera de Guatemala, OperaDelaware, and Central City Opera. In the 2024-2025 season, Ms. Perregrino debuted at The Metropolitan Opera as The Voice of the Fountain in the new production of Osvaldo Golijov’s Ainadamar. On the concert stage, she appeared with the Santa Fe Symphony for Handel’s Messiah and the Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra for Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony. She also joined Opera Delaware as the Director of Women Pilots for the world premiere of Derrick Wang’s Fearless. This season, Ms. Perregrino joins the Savannah Philharmonic Orchestra for Mozart's Requiem, appears as a soloist with the Serafin Chamber Music Festival, and makes her role debut as Mélisande in Opera Baltimore’s production of Debussy’s Pelléas et Mélisande. She also returns to American Lyric Theater for their 20th Anniversary Gala, and for two workshops – Tevye's Daughters (Weiser/Fleischmann) and Ofrenda (Sosa/de los Santos). In 2026-2027, Ms. Perregrino will return to the title role in Carmen with both North Carolina Opera and Opera Grand Rapids.
