Dylan Anthony Morrongiello is known for his “over-the-top committed” portrayals and “stentorian” tenor (Words and Music, Boston Classical Review). Last season, Mr. Morrongiello sang Don Basilio in Le nozze di Figaro with Amarillo Opera, performed Janáček’s The Diary of One Who Disappeared with the Brooklyn Art Song Society, and returned to the Chicago Opera Theater as the Lottery Agent and Baron Laur in Weill’s Der Silbersee. He also made his house debut with Minnesota Opera as Beppe in Pagliacci. In 2026-2027, he returns to the Lyric Opera of Chicago for Omar, covers Algernon in The Importance of Being Earnest with Chicago Opera Theater, and joins Brooklyn Art Song Society in recital.
