French-American mezzo-soprano Sarah Scofield is noted for her “playful performance” and wit onstage (Front Row Reviewers). Last season, Ms. Scofield made her debut with Opera Philadelphia in their 50th anniversary kick-off as Maddalena in Il viaggio a Reims, and sang Nirena and covered Sesto in Giulio Cesare with the St. Petersburg Opera Company. She also sang the role of Mrs. Noye in Britten’s Noye’s Fludde with the Cathedral of the Madeleine. This season, Ms. Scofield joins the Utah Symphony to sing the second soprano solo in Vivaldi's Gloria.
